Reece James Begs Ex-Chelsea Striker To Rejoin The Club

Roma striker Tammy Abraham has revealed that Chelsea defender Reece James keeps telling him to come back to Stamford Bridge.

According to sources in Italy, Abraham is expected to return to the Premier League this summer, with interest from both Chelsea and Manchester United.

The Blues are thought to have a €80 million buy-back clause, and Abraham has refused to rule out a return to west London.

Abraham has made an impression in the Italian city since signing from Chelsea in 2021, helping Roma win the Europa Conference League.

However, Reece James has put in his two cents and thinks that Tammy Abraham should return to Stamford Bridge. Following a good season, Team Talk has revealed that Abraham is bombarded with friendly reminders from James that he’s always welcome back at Chelsea.

‘With the exception of a few loan moves, everything I knew was Chelsea, but even now I believe it was the perfect moment to leave.

‘I was ready to take a step forward in my career, I didn’t want to be considered a youngster or a player who had just come from the academy. It was time for me to spread my wings.

‘I still talk to so many Chelsea players, Reece James always tells me to come back!
