Kudus’ Agent Insists He Needs To Leave Ajax Amid Arsenal, Man United Interests

The agent of Ajax midfielder, Mohammed Kudus has claimed now is the ‘right time’ the player leaves the Amsterdam-based club.

This is coming after several Premier League clubs are being linked with the 22-year-old midfielder ahead of the summer transfer window.

In 29 appearances this season for John Heitinga’s team in the Eredivisie, Kudus, whose contract at the Johan Cruyff Arena expires in 2025, has registered 11 goals and three assists.

Arsenal, Manchester United, and Newcastle have reportedly expressed interest in the Ghanaian international due to his remarkable performances.

Kudus has been mentioned as a player who can further improve the Gunners’ options in midfield and attack. Especially given Mikel Arteta’s desire to launch another title challenge next season.

The youngster has primarily played as a center-forward or a right winger this season. But he has also occasionally played as a 10 or even an eight.

His representative has provided an update as the line to sign Kudus continues to grow.

According to Jennifer Mendelewitsch, who was cited by the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, the Ghanaian should quit Ajax at this very moment.

“I think it is best for both Ajax and Mohammed that he makes a transfer now. Now is the right time,” said Jennifer.

“He has ignored a proposal to extend his contract until the summer of 2026. What I can say is that after the World Cup and this season there is a lot of interest in Kudus.”

The Ghana international almost joined Everton in the last summer transfer window. But Ajax cancelled the deal which angered the player at the time.
This is a perfect time for him to leave the Dutch club and experience English football next season.
