Revealed: Real reason Mourinho never allows Rashford to play full 90minutes

MANCHESTER UNITED star Marcus Rashford may reportedly still be suffering from growing pains. The 19-year-old rose to the fore under Louis Van Gaal last season and this could explain why he’s usually withdrawn from games by his manager after Jose Mourinho succeeded the sacked Dutchman in May.
Following a frustrating start to the current campaign when he was often benched, Rashford has started four of the Red Devils’ last five matches.
However, he’s been replaced in the second-half of three of those encounters – against Liverpool, Manchester City and Burnley.
The decision to withdraw the England international can apparently be put down to Mourinho’s keenness to protect him though.
The Sun say the Manchester United boss is wary of overworking Rashford as he continues to grow.
And they suggest the Portuguese’s backroom staff have noticed he usually hits the wall close to the 80-minute mark.
Rashford has previously suffered from cramp late on in games.
And rather than that occur again, Mourinho is willing to take the hitman off.
Rashford is due to travel to Turkey today ahead of his team’s Europa League encounter showdown with Fenerbahce on Thursday night.
