Man United In Talks To Sign Juventus Midfielder Adrien Rabiot

According to GOAL, Man United and Juventus have already agreed on a transfer cost and are in negotiations to bring Adrien Rabiot to Old Trafford.

However, the Premier League club has yet to sign a contract with the midfielder.

While long-term goal Frenkie de Jong continues to be United’s first priority, they are also considering backup options in case they are unable to persuade the Netherlands international to leave Barcelona.

How Interested Is Man United In Rabiot?

After reaching an agreement with Juventus over a rumored £15 million ($18 million) transfer fee, the Old Trafford club started talks with Veronique Rabiot, the player’s mother and agent.

The midfielder is reportedly searching for a route out of Turin this summer.

The 27-year-old France international Rabiot, who was a fixture in Massimiliano Allegri’s starting XI last season, missed their preseason tour of the United States owing to personal matters and is now in the final year of his contract at the Allianz Stadium.

Who Are The Other United Targets?

This summer, United has also had interest in Marko Arnautovic, Fabian Ruiz of Napoli, and Benjamin Sesko, all of whom are available for transfer.

Sesko, a 19-year-old striker for Red Bull Salzburg, has been a target for Erik ten Hag’s side throughout the transfer window.

According to rumors, the Slovenian international is very certain to sign with RB Leipzig in Germany, although the deal won’t be finalized until the summer of 2019.

Sesko was a long-term target for United, but they are still searching for a more practical option to bolster their attack.
