Klopp Turns Focus To Man United Vs Arsenal Following Liverpool Slip-Up

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has warned Manchester United that they would be destroyed by Arsenal if they repeat their display at Old Trafford.

With the aim of winning and moving up to the top spot in the Premier League, Klopp’s team marched into the Theatre of Dreams. Luis Diaz gave them an early lead, but United turned the tide with goals from Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo. Leaving Liverpool trailing until Mohamed Salah’s late penalty sealed a 2-2 draw.

Liverpool are currently in second place, tied with Arsenal at the top of the table on points. But behind them on goal differences. The draw did not propel Liverpool to the top of the table, though. With seven games remaining in the title race between Manchester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool, the pressure is building.

If United defeat the Gunners before their match in mid-May, they could play kingmaker. However, Klopp isn’t counting on the United team to do him any favors.

When asked if he would be supporting the Red Devils against Arsenal, Klopp joked: “Probably, If we are still around then that would be great”, reports the Mirror as cited by Daily Star.

“But Arsenal are a good football team. If they [United] play like today, Arsenal will win the game, I am 100% sure. I am sorry to say that.”
