Bayern Keeping Tabs On Arsenal, Chelsea Target

Bayern Munich are now firmly in the conversation as Morgan Rogers emerges as one of the summer’s most talked-about names.

Christian Falk as claimed by Caught Offside, Vincent Kompany is a huge fan of the Aston Villa player and wants to bring him to Munich.

Bayern are aware that this is not an easy deal, mostly due to the price tag and the level of Premier League interest surrounding him.

Several big teams are keeping an eye on Rogers, notably Chelsea and Arsenal, who have both been linked to him this summer.

Rogers would provide Kompany with another strong, versatile attacking midfielder who can play centrally, wide left, or even as a second striker, which makes Bayern’s interest intriguing.

The frenzy is explained by his figures. Rogers contributed 16 goals for Aston Villa during the 2025–2026 Premier League season, finishing with 10 goals and 6 assists in 37 games.

Additionally, he played 3,280 minutes and started every league game, demonstrating how significant he has grown under Unai Emery.

Rogers appears to be a Mikel Arteta-like player for Arsenal. He can move the ball through congested midfield areas and is strong, straightforward, and technically sound.

Rogers is a perfect fit for Arsenal’s aggressive midfield and left-sided alternatives.

However, Villa are apparently unwilling to sell, which presents a significant issue for the Gunners.

Chelsea’s position is similarly easy to understand. The Blues have made significant investments in young offensive talent, but Rogers provides something a little different in terms of physicality, Premier League experience, and finished product.

Villa is under no need to accept an ordinary offer because he is under contract until 2031.
