Klopp Lauds Liverpool’s ‘Shooting Star’ In Fulham Win

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp reportedly said the club have no player like Trent Alexander-Arnold following his incredible strike to keep the Reds in the Premier League Title race.

The Reds defeated Fulham 3-1 to level on points with leaders Arsenal thanks to a fantastic free-kick from Alexander-Arnold. After recovering from a knee injury, the right-back was starting for the first time in the league for over two months. And in the 32nd minute, he took charge and scored a goal from 25 yards out to give Liverpool the lead.

Before the half-time, Timothy Castagne gave Fulham the equalizer. Ryan Gravenberch and Diogo Jota then provided Klopp’s team the three points, allowing them to pass Manchester City in the standings.

20-year-old Conor Bradley received high praise for filling in for Alexander-Arnold. But, according to Liverpool World, Klopp emphasized the significance of Liverpool’s vice captain during his press conference following the game.

The Anfield chief said: “It’s super-important. Super-important. But, for example, one of the shooting stars of this season is Conor Bradley, who played the position and he played in a few games football where we all thought: ‘Oh, wow… what was that?!’ But nobody is like Trent.

“Nobody is like Trent. The way we play with him can be different, so yes, it is super-helpful and I am really happy about that.

“How I said, the squad situation in the moment – and hopefully it stays like that – is as good as it has been in this season because if you saw our bench today, that was real quality and experience and stuff like this.

“Now we have to stay greedy, staying really on it. Let’s see what we can do.”
