Alex Iwobi has expressed his frustration towards his six-month goal drought at Arsenal.
The 20-year-old has been one of the standout stars for Arsene Wenger’s side this season but hasn’t found the net for the Gunners since the 4-0 win over Watford on April 2.
Iwobi squandered a chance from six yards out in Tuesday’s 2-0 victory over Reading and the midfielder took to Instagram after the match to show his annoyance at his own lack of cutting edge in front of goal.
Wenger has also urged Iwobi to relax in front of goal.
‘What we want from him now is the finishing,’ said the Arsenal manager.
‘He’s too nervous at the moment when he has the possibility to finish.’
