Bayern tweeted Arsenal about inevitable Champions League fixture five days BEFORE the draw

You knew it.

We knew it.

They knew it.

Bayern Munich vs Arsenal was ALWAYS going to happen.

When Arsenal finished top of their Champions League group, Gunners fans were understandably delighted at the unexpected feat, and the fact that they were now more than likely to avoid one of the continent’s big boys in the Last 16 early next year.

But then they all remembered something.

With Bayern Munich finishing second in their group, that meant that the possibility of a fourth meeting in five seasons between the Bavarians and the Gunners became a possibility.

Bayern knocked Arsenal out in both 2013 and 2014, while they beat them 5-1 in a group stage game 13 months ago.

And so with Gunners fans shifting nervously in their seats at the prospect of facing the side now managed by Carlo Ancelotti, one of Bayern’s official accounts sensed the chance for some trolling.

And they took it.

Remarkable scenes!
