Arsenal Planning Move For 22-Year-Old Combative Midfielder

Arsenal are reportedly plotting a move to sign Everton midfielder, Amadou Onana in the summer transfer window.

According to Football Insider as cited by CaughtOffside, the 22-year-old has made a name for himself as an important member of Everton since joining the team. And teams like Arsenal and Newcastle United have taken notice of his performances.

Onana is undoubtedly talented enough to play for the elite teams in the English shore, and Arsenal may find him to be a wise addition.

Thomas Partey, who has been linked to leaving the club, needs to be replaced by a capable long-term player, so the Gunners must pull the deal quickly.

The Belgium international is an ideal replacement for Partey. But it’s unclear if Arsenal and the Toffees can come to an agreement.

The Belgian cost Everton £33 million, and they’ll probably ask for a big sum of money come summertime. Declan Rice cost Arsenal a club record.

So it will be exciting to see if they are willing to shell out a lot of money once more to get the England international a midfield partner.

A Rice and Onana combination looks strong on paper, and they could settle the Arsenal midfield for the foreseeable future.

The midfielder would blossom significantly if he joined Arsenal. And he will undoubtedly be excited about the opportunity to play at the Emirates the following campaign.

Onana would give Arsenal’s back four protection while granting the creative players greater leeway. His physicality, tackling skills, and game reading will help the Gunners control the midfield.
