Allegri And Juventus Are About To Face A Decision

According to Cult Of Calcio, After 19 straight wins, the defeat to Inter will not have an impact on Massimiliano Allegri’s future. Given his short-term contract, TuttoSport reports that even though he has won over some doubters this season, it’s not a given that he’ll remain with Juventus.

Both sides are thinking about it. Starting a season with a coach in the last year of his contract is typically not a good sign. It is improbable to occur. Thus, the call will have to wait until the summer of the following year, right after the last Serie A match.

Allegri and Juventus are content with their current working arrangement, but the team would accept a less expensive manager. He earns €7 million a year. It is unclear if he would be open to accepting a multi-year contract in exchange for a pay cut.

In June, Cristiano Giuntoli and the manager will have a meeting to review the situation. The tactician would have no trouble finding a new team if he left. Saudi Arabia is the country that is most interested in him. That was already the summer before. He might be more receptive than he has been in the past.

A portion of their brass would have gladly quit earlier in the campaign, when the results would have been more logical. The Bianconeri have a good location. It would make much more sense to stick with the plan now. However, selecting a rising star with a more contemporary look would also be appropriate.
