Ten Hag Offered Chance To Make Up Man United Transfer Error As £20M Talks Begin

Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag has been given the opportunity to make amends for the club’s summer transfer window 2022 by signing Mohammed Kudus.

Since the winger joined West Ham United last summer, he has been thriving in the Premier League, leaving many to wonder why the Red Devils passed him over.

With a deal worth up to £38.5 million, Kudus joined the Hammers from Ajax. Since then, he has scored 12 goals and provided three assists.

The Ghana international has made an impression on the right wing, where his quick reflexes and deft footwork make him a nightmare for opponents.

Following Ten Hag’s appointment as manager, the Red Devils considered targeting Kudus. But they decided to go after Antony after consulting with the Dutchman.

The Brazil international has had a difficult time since the £85 million transfer. Failing to impress when given regular chances and consequently dropping down the Old Trafford hierarchy in recent months.

Antony may therefore be planning a summer move, and United may try to sign Kudus to replace him in light of Harry Maguire’s involvement.

According to the Sun as claimed by Daily Express, West Ham are still interested in the England international. And David Moyes is adamant that his team make a bid for the center back at the end of the current campaign after earlier attempts to sign him to a contract were unsuccessful.

Given that Maguire will only have a year remaining on his United contract when the transfer window opens. The Hammers are hoping to pay between £15 million and £20 million for the player.

Though United may consider a player-plus-cash trade given the interest in their out-of-favour defender.
