Spanish International Set To Complete Move To Middle East

Leeds United forward, Rodrigo Moreno is reportedly set to complete a permanent move to Qatar-based club, Al-Rayyan in the summer transfer window.

Several teams have been linked with a move for the Spanish international during the summer. Including Everton, Fulham, Spanish giants Real Madrid, and fellow La Liga team Seville, who recently hired Victor Orta as their director of football.

However, according to respected transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Rodrigo will now travel to Qatar Stars League and sign with Al Rayyan. The midfielder is currently undergoing a medical examination before the transfer is finalized later today.

According to recent reports in Spain, Rodrigo, who signed with Leeds in 2020, has a release clause in his contract that allows him to leave the team for £3 million if Leeds are relegated.

After being demoted to the Championship, Leeds are clearing the roster of high-earning players.
