Richard Keys Slams Mauricio Pochettino For What Chelsea Manager Did After Arsenal Draw

Mauricio Pochettino of Chelsea has been chastised by Richard Keys for “laughing and joking with the opposition” during his team’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal.

Chelsea went up 2-0 with to goals from Cole Palmer and Mykhaylo Mudryk, but late goals from Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard gave Arsenal a point. Pochettino was also spotted laughing and joking with a member of Arsenal’s coaching staff after the final whistle.

And beIN sports presenter Keys was not happy with Pochettino, fuming: “Am I the only one that’s got a problem with this? You’re the manager of a side two up that’s cruising until your keeper hands a way back into the game to the opposition and you leave the field smiling and joking with the opposition goalkeeping coach.

“Why can’t you get up off your seat head down the tunnel, be angry that your team have thrown away two points and let them know when you get in. I just wonder sometimes if it means enough, is there a winner in there?

“Show the Chelsea fans what you meant to them.” Not to laugh and joke with the opposition.” Pochettino and Arteta both talked highly of one other ahead of the game, having previously worked together at Paris Saint-Germain.

“[I have] amazing memories,” Pochettino remarked. “When you connect with someone like him — we share football values and passion — yes, I can tell you he has been a part of my family since the day he arrived in Paris.”

“We arrived together and spent time with our families together.” First, we will stay in a hotel for a few months before moving into a nearby apartment. It had an incredible, incredible history. What he is doing does not surprise me because he was a coach.
