Anthony Taylor will make his return to the Premier League this weekend as he is set to officiate the heavyweight clash between Chelsea and Manchester City at the Stamford Bridge.

The 45-year-old took over Preston’s home game versus Coventry and gave the former a penalty kick.
Although replays revealed little contact, Sky Blues defender Kyle McFadzean was found to have fouled Milutin Osmajic in the penalty area.
Taylor received more criticism after Preston won 3-2. But he will be back refereeing in the Premier League on Sunday night.
According to talkSPORT, Taylor will be in control of Chelsea’s match against Premier League leaders City at Stamford Bridge.
This season, he has overseen nine games in the English top flight; this will be his second match with Chelsea.
Taylor would oversee his 15th club and international match of the season on Sunday. He also officiated Barcelona’s 1-0 UEFA Champions League victory over Porto.
Chelsea will go into the game fresh off of a thrilling 4-1 victory over Tottenham on Monday night.
Spurs ended up down to nine players in the game. A hat-trick from Nicolas Jackson and a penalty from Cole Palmer sealed the victory for the Blues.

Following their Champions League encounter at home against Young Boys on Tuesday night, City will make their way to the Bridge.
