PSG Fan Stabbed Following Violent Clashes With AC Milan Ultras

A Paris Saint-Germain fan has reportedly been hospitalized following a stab during violent clashes from AC Milan ultras.

Just hours before they play each other in the UEFA Champions League group stage, fans of the two dominant European teams gathered in Milan on Monday night.

According to Corriere della Sera as cited by Goal, about 100 Rossoneri ultras, all clad in black, are reported to have entered the Navigli neighborhood of Milan, where PSG supporters were gathered for pre-match drinks.

A massive firework went out to signal their arrival. And in the ensuing frenzy, tables and chairs were flipped over and glasses and bottles were crushed on the ground.

The Italian publication reports that a Parisian fan received treatment for stab wounds to his leg prior to being admitted for further medical attention.

Not too long after midnight, the authorities attempted to disperse the people by using tear gas, which was an unpleasant event.

When the two teams met at Parc des Princes on October 25, Milan supporters got into a fight with PSG supporters, as the Ligue 1 champions won 3-0.

According to reports, a 34-year-old Frenchman had stab wounds that needed to be bandaged, although his injuries were not considered life-threatening.

While some supporters who had been knocked around were transported to adjacent hotels, none of the other fans are thought to have suffered permanent injuries. Two other spectators reported having “bruises and bloody head wounds,” but they declined to visit the hospital.

No arrests have been made among the Milan faithful. As of this moment, detectives are reviewing the video evidence that was recorded by cameras placed across the Navigli region.
