Real Madrid Considering Gonzalo Garcia Loan Exit This Summer

According to Sport boom, Arsenal and Newcastle United are interested in Real Madrid’s attacking prospect Gonzalo Garcia. The two Premier League clubs are looking to strengthen their offensive units by adding a striker ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The latest report has excellent news for Arsenal and Newcastle United, as Real Madrid may allow a loan exit for the Spaniard during the forthcoming transfer window. The Spanish giants “have for the first time seriously put a loan option on the table to allow his development to continue in a top-tier arena” and chose the Premier League as the best destination.

Gonzalo Garcia and the Real Madrid break

Gonzalo Garcia is the latest player to graduate from cs La Fabrica academy. While the Merengues’ academy has not produced many world-class prodigies in recent years, they have developed Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, and a few other players after signing them. Garcia, 22, made his breakthrough at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

Garcia has since been a backup player in the 2025/26 season, logging 1,184 minutes of game time in 32 primarily substitute appearances while scoring six goals and assisting twice. Meanwhile, the Spanish striker’s stock has risen, with numerous well-known clubs eyeing him. Arsenal and Newcastle United are among the potential suitors competing for prospective suitors vying for his signature.

Are you looking for adventure in the Premier League?

Arsenal’s interest in Gonzalo Garcia makes sense. The Gunners are looking for a striker as Gabriel Jesus’ future at the Emirates remains uncertain. In addition, Kai Havertz has had some fitness concerns during the last year. So, with Viktor Gyokeres still adjusting to the demands of being a Premier League striker, Arsenal must buy a centre-forward to supplement the Swede and Havertz.

Newcastle United’s Nick Woltemade and Yoane Wissa have yet to make an impact since their arrival at St. James’ Park. Furthermore, recent speculations indicate that Woltemade may be leaving the Tyneside club. So Newcastle United must look for a striker again, with Garcia a viable alternative.

Arsenal and Newcastle United, on the other hand, may not be interested in a loan deal because both teams require a long-term solution for their striker situations. Meanwhile, Garcia should avoid joining Arsenal since he will suffer similar game-time issues there. Instead of these two clubs, a former suitor like Leeds United could be the best fit for the 22-year-old Spaniard.
