Premier League Trio Join Barcelona In Race For £40m Wolves Star

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have reportedly joined Barcelona in the hunt for Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder, Ruben Neves. With the 26-year-old set to leave the Midlands club at the end of the season.

Barcelona is where the 26-year-old is keen to move. His future is far from certain, though, with Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal all in the running.

Neves undoubtedly possesses the talent to be a top player periodically. It would therefore be intriguing to observe who prevails in the competition for his signature.

Neves has appeared 32 times for Wolves in the Premier League this season. Contributing one assist and six goals. Occasionally, the central midfielder is known for scoring absolute screamers, which is a quality that any club would cherish having.

At Molineux, the Wolves skipper has consistently declined to agree to a contract extension. Now that his contract is slated to expire in June 2024. Wolves will probably sell him this summer to prevent him from leaving on a free transfer.

The Midlands club reportedly wanted roughly £40 million for Neves. However, with three Premier League heavyweights in the running, his final asking price might be greater.

Man Utd, Liverpool, and Arsenal are all seriously considering making a deal for Neves this summer, Spanish publication SPORT claimed.

They point out that Barcelona are also competing. However, it’s uncertain whether the Spanish club can afford his £40 million price tag considering their current financial difficulties.
