Arsenal Consider Move For 20-Year-Old Defender

Arsenal are reportedly eyeing a move for Dutch defender, Devyne Rensch in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The 20-year-old Dutchman so far has had a stellar performance for Ajax this season. And according to Football Insider, Arsenal are interested in signing him.

Right-back specialists are needed by the Gunners. And Rensch might be a good, long-term investment. This season, Ben White has been Mikel Arteta’s choice at right-back. The former Brighton player has performed admirably. But a central defensive position is where he is most effective.

Ben White returning to his natural position would be excellent for Arsenal, who lack depth in their central defense choices.

Rensch is one of the names on the Gunners’ wish-list. And he has been linked with the club in recent weeks along with many other full-backs.

The Dutchman is a phenomenal talent who has a bright future. With training and coaching, he has the qualities to become a top-notch defender.

It is uncertain whether Arsenal will opt to make a formal offer to acquire the player before the beginning of the next campaign. Despite the fact that they have the financial capacity to do so.

The prospect of competing in the Premier League might be appealing to the 20-year-old. Working with an elite coach like Mikel Arteta would also help him develop and become a better player.

Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka, and Martin Odegaard are just a few of the excellent young players that the Spaniard has helped develop at Arsenal thus far. All three players have progressed under his guidance.
