Paul Pogba Suffers Injury Setback For Juventus

Paul Pogba missed Juventus’ victory over Sampdoria due to injury. And there are now worries that he might be sidelined for a few weeks.

Since the beginning of this season, the 29-year-old Frenchman has missed 34 of 37 games across all competitions. It is apparent that his comeback to Turin has not gone as planned.

The fans’ tolerance is beginning to fray due to Pogba’s six-month struggle with a severe knee injury and concurrent surgery.

Pogba’s behavior off the field hasn’t helped to pacify Juventus faithfuls. As they are upset to see him skiing during the break and think he’s not taking things seriously in Turin.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Pogba missed Juventus’ victory over Sampdoria due to a muscular problem. And it’s now being speculated that he might have strained his adductors. Which would keep him out for about a month.

The Bianconeri may start pondering their alternatives prior to the summer transfer window as they are beginning to grow frustrated with Pogba.

The midfielder is yet to start a game for his club as he made just two substitute appearances against Torino and Roma.

The 2018 World Cup champion has a deal with Juventus that runs through June 2026. He makes a total of €10 million net per season, of which €8 million is a fixed price and the remaining €2 million comes from add-ons.
