Ian Wright Lauds ‘Invaluable’ Arsenal Player

Leandro Trossard received high praise from Ian Wright for his outstanding performance in Arsenal’s victory over Fulham.
The 28-year-old became the first player in Premier League history to provide a hat-trick of assists in the first half of an away game. After he laid three sublime assists for each of the three goals the Gunners scored.

In addition to providing the corner that allowed Gabriel Magalhaes to give Arsenal the lead. Trossard later in the game also supplied Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard. If Granit Xhaka hadn’t made a strong contact with the ball, Trossard would have recorded a fourth assist.

Despite being Mykhailo Mudryk’s backup option, the Belgian international has fitted right in the squad. Wright was full of praise for Trossard while speaking on Premier League Productions. Calling the forward an ‘unbelievable acquisition’ to Mikel Arteta’s squad.

“He’s played against the players, he knows exactly what is needed from him,” the former Arsenal striker said. “So to get a signing like that who can come in and is up to speed is invaluable to us. He’s shown from the first game to now he’s shown that he’s an unbelievable addition to this squad.”

The midfielder signed for Arsenal in a £21 million deal from Brighton and Hove Albion during the January transfer window.

Arsenal will be locking horns with Crystal Palace next in their league outing. And they will require the services of the 28-year-old in the London derby.
