Manager ‘About To Sign’ With Leeds United – Sorting Out ‘Final Details’, Move ‘Imminent’

Leeds United are yet to name a new manager following Leeds United departure from Elland Road following the club’s relegation from the Premier League.

The Whites have been associated with a number of managers in recent weeks and are about to make a decision on their new boss.

At least, that’s what Sky Deutschland is claiming, along with the fact that Daniel Farke is ‘ready to join’ with Leeds.

The 46-year-old is currently unemployed after leaving Borussia Mönchengladbach at the end of last season.
Farke is claimed to have been in Leeds since Monday to finalize the ‘final details’ of the transfer after reaching a verbal deal with the English club last week. Sky reports that the German is ‘imminently’ signing a contract with the new squad.

Leeds have begun pre-season training, and Farke is expected to lead his first session later this week, according to reports.

Farke has managerial expertise in England, having worked at Norwich City from 2017 to 2021, managing over 200 games and taking the Canaries back to the Premier League on two occasions.

For a player of Rodrigo’s evident ability, £3m for his services is laughable, and Sevilla would be getting themselves a bargain.

From the new owners point of view, they’ll likely just have to write this one off as one of those things. Earning £100,000 per week is far too expensive for a Championship side in any event.
