Matheus Cunha could be suspended after his winning goal celebration at Arsenal included explicit language aimed at cameras.
The Brazilian scored a stunning late winner, making it 3-2 and handing United a huge victory at the Emirates.
Cunha celebrated by doing a surfing dance and shouting, “The f—— biggest,” directly into a live broadcast camera.
Sky Sports commentator Peter Drury immediately apologised after the profanity was heard during the live coverage of the match.
The FA rules state that using offensive language is punishable by a sending off during a match.

Since 2013, the FA can review incidents captured on camera and take retrospective action against players.
Wayne Rooney was suspended for two matches in 2011 after swearing into a camera after a hat-trick.
Rooney missed the FA Cup semi-final, which United lost 1-0 to Manchester City following the ban.
There is no official update yet on whether Cunha will face a similar suspension from the FA.
He later captioned his Instagram post, “The freaking biggest,” attempting to downplay the controversial celebration.
Lingard Reacts as Cunha Reopens Emirates “Dancefloor”
Jesse Lingard reacted to Cunha’s celebration with a surfing emoji, referencing the player’s dance move.
Lingard previously celebrated at the Emirates with the viral “Milly Rock” dance after scoring for United.
He also performed the famous “moonwalk” after scoring a winner against Arsenal in the 2019 FA Cup, reports SI.
United hadn’t won at the Emirates in the Premier League since 2017 before Cunha’s match-winning goal.
The victory boosts United’s Champions League hopes as they continue to rise under Michael Carrick’s leadership.
