Joshua Kimmich Open To Joining Liverpool Or Arsenal

Joshua Kimmich, a midfielder for Bayern Munich, is reportedly considering a summer transfer to either Liverpool or Arsenal, according to German journalist Florian Plettenberg.

Though he is considered one of the best midfielders in the Bundesliga, the 29-year-old is open to taking on a new challenge this summer if talks over a new deal at Bayern fail.

Plettenberg asserts that Bayern is willing to let go of Kimmich should the right offer present itself at the end of the current campaign.

The midfielder is also willing to speak with possible buyers. Liverpool and Arsenal are among his preferred destinations alongside Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Regarding a summer contract, Kimmich has already been contacted by a few of those teams.

Superior quality

Although Kimmich has been a wonderful player for the Bavarian giants over the years, given the lack of movement in negotiations for a new deal, he may be ready to move on this summer.

It seems that he might consider relocating to the Premier League. It is mentioned that Liverpool and Arsenal would be inclined to pursue him during the upcoming transfer window.

Wataru Endo was Liverpool’s sole defensive midfield addition despite the club spending a lot of money on midfield players in the summer.

After a rocky start to the season, the Japanese player has found his footing; nonetheless, the new manager could be enticed to sign Kimmich, who would be a definite improvement in the position.

Arsenal might be considering the same thing as they get ready to deal Thomas Partey. The Ghanaian player may be nearing the end of his career due to his numerous ailments.

The Gunners may be inclined to approve his departure and pursue a trade for Kimmich, whose excellent passing ability would fit in well with their style of play, as his contract is set to expire the following year.
