FPL Gameweek12 Recap: Exciting Gameweek Before International Break; iSoccer Winners

The Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 12 was an exciting, thrilling and interesting one for majority of managers, thanks to the attacking hauls from two most popularly owned assets; Mohamed Salah (13.0m) and Erling Haaland (14.0m).

Both players plundered 16 points each to give managers who owned them something to hold on to before the international break.

With his huge return in this GW, Kostas Tsimikas (£4.6m) caused many Fantasy football managers to second-guess their choice to sell him.

The Greek made a forceful comeback, scoring 15 points from two assists, a clean sheet, and the maximum bonus points.

With Bryan Mbeumo’s (£6.8m) wasting Brentford’s opportunity, the Reds ultimately had too much quality in their attack.

Diogo Jota (£7.7m), Darwin Nunez (£7.5m), Salah and Cody Gakpo (£7.2m) all got off to starts.

Arsenal’s defensive duo, Oleksandr Zinchenko (£4.9m) and William Saliba (£5.4m) both scored to give the Gunners a 3-1 win against Burnley.

Last season’s runners-up failed to keep a clean sheet against the Clarets as Gabriel Magalhaes left his owners with just 2 points. Bukayo Saka (£8.6m) gave an assist as he continues to reward his owners.

Aston Villa continued with their impressive form at home with a 3-1 triumph over Fulham thanks to John McGinn (£5.5m), Ollie Watkins (£8.4m) and Antoinee Robinson’s (£4.4) own goal.

It was a fruitless outing for Bruno Fernandes (£8.3m) and Marcus Rashford (£8.6m) at Old Trafford. The Red Devils could only breach newly promoted Luton Town once. Victor Lindelof’s (£4.5m) close range strike gave United the win.

Dominic Solanke (£6.4m) proved the difference as Bournemouth surprisingly recorded a victory over Newcastle United. Solanke’s brace sank the Magpies assets as they failed to score a goal at the Vitality. Kieran Trippier (£7.0m), Fabian Schar (£5.2m) and Anthony Gordon (£5.8m) all blanked and subsequently gave their owners something to think about.

In what is arguably the best game of the season so far, struggling Chelsea played out a 4-4 draw against high flying Manchester City. Haaland, Rodrigo Hernandez (£5.6m), Manuel Akanji (£4.9m), Thiago Silva (£5.0m), Raheem Sterling (6.9m), Nicolas Jackson (£6.8m) and Cole Palmer (£5.1m) all scored in the 8-goal thriller.

Please Note: Winners will be contacted directly by the iSoccer FPL admins ONLY if they have dropped a comment or their team names at any point during the season. Winners who haven’t fulfilled any of the above requirements would have their win passed down to a next eligible manager (who has sent in comments).

This will be done on the next Gameweek’s Deadline Day (provided winners didn’t comment still). And once payments are made to another manager, it becomes irreversible.

No manager is entitled to win in two consecutive GWs. So, any reward of such would be passed down to the next manager in line. This is necessary to make winnings go round.

Net points for the week will be used in picking winners, rather than gross points.

Also Note: Each player is entitled to only ONE team. Therefore, payments will be denied from players with more than one team, and passed to next manager.

All players are also advised to follow the social media handles and to visit the iSoccer website frequently.
