FPL Gameweek 5: Scout’s Ones To Watch

As usual, the FPL Scout lists possible players to keep an eye on for the incoming gameweek. With the GW 5 deadline fast approaching (6pm WAT), here’s the Scout’s ones to watch for GW 5.

Harry Kane (TOT) £11.4m

Kane (£11.4m) added two more goals against Nottingham Forest to continue his impressive 2022–23 FPL start.

Despite missing a penalty, the Tottenham Hotspur forward recorded his greatest point total of the season on Sunday with 10 points.

All four of Kane’s goals this season have come in his last three games, including strikes against Chelsea and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Kane is set to play West Ham United in GW 5.

He scored 13 points and contributed three assists in the last victory over the Hammers.

Ruben Dias (MCI) £6.0m

At home against Nottingham Forest, the center back for Manchester City has potential on both ends of the field.

With two goals and five assists during the previous season, Dias was a dependable source of offensive output.

He faces a Forest team that has only scored twice in its first four games in 2022–23.

Marcus Rashford (MUN) £6.3m

Rashford might benefit from playing up front for Manchester United by taking advantage of Leicester City’s defense.

He is classified as a midfielder in fantasy football, and his 11 shots and 10 shots inside the box rank first on the club.

He also scored one goal.

Meanwhile, Leicester has let up 13 huge chances, more than any other team.

Marc Cucurella (CHE) £5.1m

The wingback, who joined Chelsea from Brighton & Hove Albion, has already regained his attacking form.

In two of his three starts for the Blues, Cucurella has contributed an assist, earning points against Spurs and Leicester.

He travels to Southampton, a team that was shut out by Manchester United 1-0 in their most recent home game.

Rodrigo (LEE) £6.5m

The Spaniard has four goals and an assist to lead the midfielders ranking with 37 points.

In Patrick Bamford’s (£7.3m) absence, Rodrigo has played up front and has produced more than any other player in his position in Fantasy with 18 shots and 15 shots inside the box.

Hewelcomes an Everton team that hasn’t had a clean sheet this season.
