According to SPORT, FC Barcelona has signed a new striker to replace injured number nine Robert Lewandowski.
The Pole was hooked before halftime in Wednesday night’s Champions League win over Porto, with the club confirming a knock the following afternoon.
“This morning’s tests revealed that Robert Lewandowski has a left ankle sprain.” He is out, and his recuperation will determine his availability,” according to a tweet.
Shortly after that correspondence, SPORT and other sites stated that Lewandowski might be out for “more than a month” and could miss the match against Granada on Sunday.

If this prospective development materializes, it will risk his participation in crucial forthcoming La Liga matches against Athletic Club, Real Madrid, and Real Sociedad.
Furthermore, head coach Xavi Hernandez would be unable to select his top scorer for a Champions League match against Shakhtar Donetsk on October 25, as well as the rematch in Hamburg on November 7.
Xavi is presently missing Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, and Raphinha, all of whom have suffered injuries.
