Arsenal teenage sensation, Max Dowman has been advised to quit the club as soon as possible.
The 16-year-old became the youngest goal scorer in Premier League history when he scored his first senior goal for the team in the 2-0 victory over Everton earlier this month.
Mikel Arteta’s academy star, who has made three appearances, has great expectations for Arsenal.
Four academy alumni have made an impact on the first team, including the teenage wonder.
Despite Arteta’s heavy investment in the transfer market, Ethan Nwaneri, Myles Lewis-Skelly, and Marli Salmon have all accumulated minutes over the past 12 months.
Dowman Urged To Continue Development Elsewhere
However, talkSPORT’s Adrian Durham has urged Dowman to continue his development elsewhere.
“Max Dowman needs to leave Arsenal as soon as possible,” Durham told the talkSPORT Daily podcast on the latest episode of Fiery Fridays.
“Dowman has seen Myles Lewis-Skelly’s career derailed by MIkel Arteta. He’s not even third choice left-back now – [Piero] Hincapie and [Riccardo] Calafiori ahead of him in a Wembley final.
