“Conversations are well underway” allegedly concern a loan agreement with a buyout option between Corinthians and Arsenal. Marquinhos’ contract expires in 2027, and the article doesn’t specify how much was paid to acquire him.
The north London club ended the winger’s tenure in France after he was limited to just 150 minutes of play in seven games at Nantes.

The Gunners will accept a loan move since Mikel Arteta won’t be able to provide him consistent minutes this season. Arsenal and Corinthians are in serious negotiations, so the deal with a buy option could go through.

Currently competing for his nation in the pre-Olympic competition is the Brazil U23 international.

Marquinhos from São Paulo was signed by Arsenal in 2022, and he spent the ast year on loan at Norwich City and Nantes.
