Atletico Madrid have reportedly set their ultimate asking price for Barcelona in their attempt to bring in Julian Alvarez this summer.
According to SPORT as reported by Forbes, Atleti demand €150 million from the Catalans in order to capture the Argentine.
According to the report, there is no room for negotiating deferred payments or lowering the asking price by incorporating Barça players in a possible part swap agreement.
Atletico Have No Interest In Player Plus Cash Deal
This indicates that Atletico have no interest in Blaugrana players like Marc Casado, Ferran Torres, or anyone else Sporting Director Deco may present.
Torres may have his contract extended as Barça look for another striker in light of Robert Lewandowski’s departure, while Casado is anticipated to leave his boyhood club this summer and has been linked to clubs like AS Monaco and AC Milan.
Lewandowski, a modern-day club legend and free agent, will leave FC Barcelona on June 30 this week due to the expiration of his contract. He scored 120 goals and won La Liga three times in four amazing seasons.
Lewy’s number nine shirt will to be inherited by Alvarez if he moves to the Camp Nou. However, it is proving difficult to finalize a deal for him with Atletico as reports from Argentina revealed he had committed to a five-year contract with Barça.

Following Alvarez’s comments at the World Cup that he wishes to leave Atletico, the Spanish giants could be forced into a sale.
“The truth is that I don’t know,” Alvarez told ESPN after another Lionel Messi-led victory for Argentina over Austria.
“I don’t think it’s the time to talk, but I can’t hide either. I try to be an honest person. Spoke to the people at the club, who I had to talk to. I think the best thing for everyone is a transfer and I want to fulfill my dream,” Alvarez added.
