Andy Ruiz is certain that he would like to fight with Anthony Joshua again.
The two combatants battled twice in 2019 before the coronavirus pandemic, with Ruiz winning the first match by TKO at Madison Square Garden and Joshua winning the rematch a few months later in Saudi Arabia by majority decision.
Since then, Ruiz has beaten Chris Arreola and will now compete against Luis Ortiz in September of this year, while the Englishman has beaten Kubrat Pulev, failed to Oleksandr Usyk, and will now square off against Usyk one more in August.

Regardless of the outcome of each boxer’s future fight, Ruiz wants a rematch with Joshua rescheduled.
“Once he beat me over there, there should have been a trilogy,” he said in an interview with ID Boxing.
“I should have had one more opportunity to get back those belts just like we gave him the opportunity with the rematch.
“Things happen, he lost again to Usyk and the best man wins.
“Of course, there has to be a trilogy. Even if he loses or wins, or if I lose or win, there has to be a trilogy some day and somehow.”

In addition, the American analyzed Usyk vs. Joshua when he spoke on ID Boxing.
“I think it could go either way,” he said as he started his analysis.
“I know Joshua has a new trainer in Robert Garcia, he’s over there trying to show him the Mexican style to be aggressive, throw a lot of punches, to be first, to come at him.
“But Usyk is an awkward fighter, he’s an awkward lefty fighter.
“That’s why we picked a lefty as well in case we have to go through Usyk.
