Zidane slammed over Bale saga and his relationships with Madrid players

Spanish pundit Josep Pedrerol has slammed Real Madrid’s handling of the Gareth Bale saga.

Bale is in talks over a return to Tottenham this month and Real Madrid are reportedly willing to cover some of his costs.

“Today [Tuesday], Bale’s agent, a peculiar agent, has recognised for the first time that Gareth Bale is planning to leave Real Madrid,” Pedrerol said on El Chiringuito de Jugones.

“Bale could go to Tottenham with [Jose] Mourinho… but Tottenham are even planning for Real Madrid to pay part of his wages.

“Real Madrid are sending Bale to Tottenham and paying for him to play there… Is that normal?

“Can you imagine Mourinho playing him in luxury?

“What would a Madridista say to paying Bale’s wages while he plays for another team?

“What would a Madridista say to paying Bale’s wages while he plays for Mourinho?

“And what if Mourinho makes Zidane look a fool and [Bale] plays well?

“Florentino… he may as well stay.”

Pedrerol also expressed his concern over Zidane’s relationships with his players.

“James [Rodriguez] made his debut the other day and was Everton’s best player…” he began.

“James doesn’t like Zidane and… caprice too!

“Bale doesn’t like him… what?

“Kepa [Arrizabalaga] didn’t like him.

“Vinicius [Junior] doesn’t like him. Neither do Rodrygo [Goes] or [Luka] Jovic…

“No one likes him!

“Isco, Marcelo and [Karim] Benzema like him!

“So he’s won LaLiga… okay!

“He couldn’t not have won LaLiga against the worst Barcelona of recent times.

“Come on, man!”
