West Ham Set To Beat Two Premier League Rivals For Teenage Star

West Ham United are reportedly in pole position to beat two Premier League clubs to the signature of Nordsjaelland winger, Ibrahim Osman.

According to the Daily Mail, which was cited by WestHamZone, the Hammers have “stolen a march” on Brentford and Brighton. And they are in negotiations with the Danish side over a £16 million transfer for the teenager.

The Ghanian is believed to be of great interest to the Seagulls. But the Irons are currently pressing to finalize a deal before the January transfer window closes.

The action follows shortly after West Ham thwarted rivals in the Premier League, such as Newcastle, to reach an agreement with Manchester City for Kalvin Phillips’ loan.

Although nothing can be confirmed until contracts are signed and formal announcements are made. It is encouraging news at London Stadium that last season’s Europa Conference League winners seem to be overcoming elite opposition in a number of pursuits this month.

With a few notable exceptions, like the FA Cup loss to Bristol City, David Moyes has managed to lead the team to a decent first half of the season despite what appear to be a few obvious deficiencies in the roster.

There should be some hope for a strong campaign conclusion if he can get the reinforcements he believes he needs in the middle of the season.

The most obvious area of need seemed to be attacking areas. So if Osman gets signed up and Tim Steidten can help finally bring in a striker. Then the East London-based club options should look pretty good.
