Victor Lindelof Praises Harry Maguire After Bournemouth Performance

Following the 3-0 victory over Bournemouth, Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof praised his partnership with fellow center-back Harry Maguire.

In the victory, which saw the Reds move up to equal points with third-place Newcastle United in the Premier League, Maguire and Lindelof each made their first starts for United since the resumption of domestic football.

What Lindelof Said About Harry Maguire

After the game, United’s number. 2 spoke with MUTV about his partnership with the skipper and referred to him as a “fantastic player” to play alongside.

“It is nice to be back,” said Lindelof.

“It’s always nice to get some minutes in the legs and to help the team get the three points. It felt good physically and, obviously, I have played a lot of games with ‘H’ [Harry Maguire] so I though he worked well today.

“We played a lot of games together and I think he is a fantastic player and he performed at a very high level today.”

United fought hard in their victory over the Cherries, with Casemiro tucking home a Christian Eriksen free-kick in the first half, before Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford scored well-worked team goals in the second half.
