Tottenham Join Liverpool, Arsenal In Race To Sign Juventus Star

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly entered the race to sign Juventus forward, Federico Chiesa in the upcoming transfer window with Liverpool and Arsenal already interested in a move.

The 26-year-old made a permanent move to Juve in 2022, a few seasons after initially joining on loan from Fiorentina in 2020.

Following his transfer to Allianz Stadium, Chiesa had some impressive seasons. But injury issues have prevented him from giving the Bianconeri his best performance over the past two seasons. However, he has fully recovered this season and is guaranteed a spot in Massimiliano Allegri’s starting lineup.

Even though Chiesa has recently begun to play at his peak. Over the past few months, the forward has been linked to a move away from Italy.

To bolster their front line, Chiesa is a player that Arsenal and Liverpool have already indicated they are interested in signing.

However, according to Tutto Juve as reported by FootballTalk, Tottenham have joined their Premier League rivals in the race to sign the winger and has been working hard to finalize the deal for next year.

The report goes on to say that Juventus might accept a payment in the range of £69 million to allow their star player to depart. Meaning Tottenham, Liverpool, or Arsenal will need to shell out a lot of money to sign the Italy international during the next transfer window.

Arsenal are reportedly prioritizing the signing of a midfielder and a striker, so making a move for a winger will put them in the red zone of the Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules.

It will be interesting to watch, though, if Tottenham, Liverpool, or Arsenal decide to formally pursue signing Chiesa during the winter transfer window.
