Borussia Monchengladbach forward, Marcus Thuram has reportedly rejected the chance to sign for Paris Saint-Germain.

At the end of the month, the France international’s contract with Monchengladbach will expire, making him a free agent. It is believed that numerous elite clubs are interested in signing him.

Thuram comes onto the free agent market after scoring 16 goals and assisting seven more in 32 games for Monchengladbach last season. Including 13 goals in the German Bundesliga.

At the 2022 World Cup, the 25-year-old made an impact under Didier Deschamps by assisting two of France’s goals. Including Kylian Mbappe’s second goal in their loss to Argentina in the final game.

Thuram will receive numerous offers this summer given his age, international experience, and effective goalscoring form last season. But L’Equipe believes he won’t sign with PSG.

According to the story, Thuram had previously expressed interest in the PSG sporting initiative, whose football advisor Luis Campos had maintained relations with his representatives for several weeks.

Thuram did, however, inform PSG that he would be looking for possibilities elsewhere. With AC Milan understood to be the front-runner in the hunt to sign him.
