Saint-Maximin Makes Bold Guimaraes statement After Incrediblele Assist

Newcastle midfielder, Bruno Guimaraes provided an incredible assist in the Magpies’ 4-4 draw against Luton Town and has been making the rounds on social media.

The Brazilian assisted in staging a comeback as Luton led 4-2 at St James’ Park after Kieran Trippier volleyed home his outside-of-the-foot cross. Harvey Barnes, a substitute, then leveled the score to salvage a point.

According to Newcastle World, The Magpies’ official Instagram account posted a video of the 26-year-old’s amazing skill. Former Magpies player Allan Saint-Maximin was one of the people who responded by commenting, “what a player.”

During their 18 months as teammates on Tyneside, Guimaraes and Saint-Maximin grew close. Guimaraes expressed his gratitude for the winger when he left to sign with Al Ahli, a Saudi Pro League team, for a reported £23 million last summer.

He said: “Thank you for everything my bro! You made me feel at home since my first day here! I will never forget how important you were to me. All the best and I will always be with you”.

And replying to Saint-Maximin on Sunday evening, Guimaraes said: “Miss you everyday bro.”
