Rudiger, Werner in contact with Havertz about Chelsea move

Chelsea pair Toni Rudiger and Timo Werner have been speaking with Germany teammate Kai Havertz about a move to Stamford Bridge.

Football.London reports Bayer Leverkusen star Havertz has been discussing his potential move to Stamford Bridge with Chelsea players and Germany team-mates Rudiger and Werner.

Frank Lampard is hoping to make the Bayer Leverkusen midfielder his third addition of the summer, after alreadu securing the services of Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and Timo Werner from RB Leipzig.

Havertz is said to be sold on Chelsea’s vision under Lampard, after having a chat with Rudiger and new-boy Werner, who has just completed his first training session with the Blues.

Havertz is hoping to have a deal sealed with Chelsea by next week, as Leverkusen’s Europa League campaign approaches after the coronavirus pandemic caused the competition to be pushed back.
