Robert Lewandowski Confirms He Is Only Interested In Barcelona Move

Robert Lewandowski has confirmed that he is not interested in joining any other club this summer other than Barcelona.

The Bayern Munich striker continued his tirade against the Bundesliga winners by asking for a transfer and urging players not to join the club as he tries to convince them to sell him with a year remaining on his contract.

Chelsea, Man United, and Paris Saint-Germain have all been connected with Lewandowski, but it’s Barcelona who have dominated the narrative around the Poland international, who has now revealed that he wants to move to Camp Nou.

“I have not considered any offer other than that of Barcelona,”he told Onet Sport.

Bayern Munich have maintained that Lewandowski will not be available this summer, promising to keep him even if it meant losing him on a free transfer in 2023, but president Herbert Hainer has expressed his displeasure with the striker’s decision to make his frustration public.

That interview took place before Lewandowski’s latest tirade, indicating that he is prepared to force his way out of Bayern this summer.

Barcelona manager Xavi is eager to sign Lewandowski this summer, but in addition to convincing Bayern to sell, the Catalan club faces financial difficulties in bringing him in.

The transfer budget isn’t very large, and Barcelona is already facing the need to cut their team down after securing the free transfers of Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie, so players would have to go before new ones could join.
