REPORT: Senior figures at Man Utd losing patience with Mourinho

Senior figures at Manchester United are growing increasingly concerned by Jose Mourinho‘s touchline antics and troubles with the Football Association, according to reports.

The 53-year-old was sent to the stands against West Ham at the weekend, resulting in a third FA charge of the season for kicking a water bottle in frustration.

United’s results have been extremely poor of late, with the team winning just once in their last seven Premier League matches to put them 11 points behind league leaders Chelsea.

Ed Woodward will not take any action against Mourinho on this occasion, though it is thought that a number of others at Old Trafford are frustrated by the Portuguese’s distracting show of petulance.

United’s slow start to the season is their worst for 27 years, and the Daily Mail claim that major names at United are worried that Mourinho’s antics are partly to blame.

The former Chelsea boss has received a great deal of unwanted attention for his behaviour in recent times, particularly as his replacement at Stamford Bridge, Antonio Conte, looks such an upgrade after the Blues sacked Mourinho last season.
