Real Madrid to put struggling Hazard up for sale this summer

Real Madrid are ready to start listening to offers for Eden Hazard after losing patience with him, according to Marca.

While injuries have stubbed the £90million signing’s development since he arrived from Chelsea back in 2019, Los Blancos manager Zinedine Zidane is ready offload the winger due to his performances and attitude.

Hazard found himself on hot water with the Madrid faithful this week after he was pictured laughing and joking with his former Chelsea team-mates moments after his side were knocked out of the Champions League semi-final.

However, the report suggests that his recent actions at Stamford Bridge have not influenced the decision and that Madrid have been planning to make him available for transfer for weeks.

Madrid have ‘reached a limit’ with Hazard’s availability to the squad and want him gone this summer, along with a few other players.

The Belgian still has three years left on his deal at the Bernabeu and the LaLiga giants still owe Chelsea money for the transfer due to the instalments.

It is highly likely that Madrid will have to accept a cut-price deal for Hazard with his value plummeting since his transfer two years ago.

Last season, the 30-year-old only featured in 22 matches due to injury and this season, having just returned back to fitness, he has amassed 18 appearances.

Regardless of whether Hazard can help lead Madrid to a LaLiga title with four matches to go in a tight title race, his future at the club seems set with a summer exit on the cards.
