Real Madrid Ponder The Transfer Of Juan Foyth

LaLiga giants, Real Madrid are reportedly considering are considering a summer move for Villarreal and Argentina defender, Juan Foyth.

A new right-back is reportedly on the club’s shopping list as worries about Dani Carvajal’s performance, fitness, and durability increase.

Although neither Lucas Vazquez nor Nacho Fernandez are natural full-backs. Coach Carlo Ancelotti has them as reserves.

Chelsea’s Reece James had been linked to Real Madrid in some reports. But the club now seem to have their sights set on Foyth. And they have already spoken to his entourage about a potential summer transfer.

Barcelona have also been credited with interest in the Argentine international since last summer.

Financial Fair Play problems have been a significant barrier to Barca’s pursuit of the 25-year-old right-back. And it is anticipated that the situation will not change this summer. This is because they are unable to meet Villarreal’s demands of €54 million for Foyth, which is the amount of his release clause.

Real Madrid have the resources to complete the transaction, according to the Planet Sport. But they could pull out if they think the asking price is too high.

The current Spanish and European champions are reportedly interested in Joao Cancelo as well as Foyth. Despite having passed on the opportunity to acquire him in January.

It is still unclear if they will pursue Foyth or Cancelo or stick with their existing right-back options in the summer transfer window.
