Real Madrid Injury Woes Continue As Stars Set To Miss Granada Clash

Real Madrid have seen their 2023/24 season marred by injury woes leaving their first team squad depleted as a result of this issue.

Important players like Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Vinicius Junior have suffered significant setbacks in recent weeks.

The injuries that have sidelined midfield maestro Luka Modric and goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga have compounded the problems.

Madrid’s plans were thrown off when Arrizabalaga sustained a muscle tear shortly before the match against Braga earlier this month.

The experienced Modric’s thigh injury sustained during Sunday’s match against Cadiz added to the already dire situation of injuries at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Due to this undesirable development, Kepa and Modric were unable to participate in the most recent victorious match against Napoli.

According to PlanetSport, Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti announced that the two important players will not be playing in the forthcoming match against Granada.

“I don’t think (anyone will be back), but then I think Modric can come back against Betis. We’re going to prepare for the game against Granada with these players,” stated Ancelotti, demonstrating the difficult situation the team is handling as a result of the important individuals’ absence.

Andriy Lunin, who has shown his skill set in the last four games, will continue to man the post in Kepa’s absence.

Nico Paz, who displayed his quality by scoring a sensational goal against Napoli in Wednesday’s 4-2 Champions League victory at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, benefits from Modric’s absence in the midfield.

The injury concerns are a major issue for los Blancos as they prepare for their match at Santiago Bernabeu against Granada.

Still, the team manage to withstand the absence of important players thanks to Ancelotti’s strategic planning and preparation.
