Real Madrid, Barcelona Keeping Tabs On La Liga Striker With 9 G/A

Etta Eyong has become one of the breakthrough stars given his outstanding achievements for Levante thus far in the 2025–26 La Liga season.

The 22-year-old striker, who joined them from Villarreal in the summer, has nine goal involvements in ten La Liga games this season (six goals, three assists).

Top clubs in Spain as well as Europe have taken notice of Eyong’s impressive start.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Madrid and Barca are among the numerous teams keeping an eye on Eyong’s progress at Levante.

But in addition to two Spanish giants, the 22-year-old center-forward is also being pursued by Premier League teams Arsenal, Manchester City, and Manchester United.

According to the source, Barca actually had interest in Eyong last summer and attempted to recruit him, but their Financial Fair Play concerns prevented them from doing so.

Barcelona are still very interested in the striker as a potential Robert Lewandowski replacement, and they think they may have an advantage because the player is an admirer.

According to the report, rather than waiting until the summer of 2026, Eyong wants to make a decision about his future during the January transfer window.

In fact, the striker wants his transfer to be finalized in the winter itself, despite the fact that he would have to stay on loan at Levante until June 30 because he has already played for two teams this season and is prohibited by rules from being registered for a third.
