Premier League Managerial Flop Now Fourth Highest Paid Manager In The World

Liverpool legend, Steven Gerrard has become the fourth highest paid manager in the world after his appointment as the head coach of Saudi Arabian club, Al Ettifaq.

Unquestionably, the Saudi Pro League is flush with absurd amounts of cash. Which is the main attraction for any footballer looking to move there.

Jordan Henderson is apparently considering moving to the Middle East, which is understandable given that playing in the Gulf State would fetch him £700,000 per week.

Along with players like Ruben Neves, N’Golo Kante, and Karim Benzema who have already joined the league this summer. Teammate Fabinho is on the verge of moving.

Gerrard, a former teammate at Liverpool who moved to Al Ettifaq earlier this month after originally turning down the opportunity to move to Saudi Arabia, wants Henderson.

The Sun reports that the former Rangers manager is currently the fourth best paid manager on the list, only behind Jurgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola and Diego Simeone.
