Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Angers Chelsea Chiefs, Contract Set To Be Discarded

Following his weekend trip to Barcelona for the El Clasico, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has left Chelsea ‘unhappy’.

Following Barca’s injury time win against Real Madrid , the Blues striker was seen rejoicing with some of his former teammates in the club’s locker room.

Aubameyang’s transfer to Stamford Bridge has been a complete failure. His former manager, Thomas Tuchel, who was replaced by Todd Boehly a few days later, brought the Gabon international back to the Premier League.

And after a disappointing season with the Blues, Aubameyang’s future at Chelsea has been seriously questioned.

Will Aubameyang Return To Barcelona?

Since his summer move from Barcelona, Aubameyang has made 19 appearances scoring three goals but it has been extremely clear where Potter’s team selection priorities lie.

In January, the 33-year-old was strongly associated with leaving west London, although Potter promptly denied those rumors at the time.

“No, nothing to report,” he said. “He’s been training with us this week.

“He has been supporting his teammates and while he is here, he is doing what he needs to do.”

Following his return to Barcelona for the El Clasico last weekend after being left out of the Chelsea squad for the Blues’ 2-2 draw with Everton, Aubameyang has reportedly left the club disgruntled.

As the Gabonese striker celebrated with his ex-teammates after the triumph against Real Madrid, Aubameyang is alleged to have expressed a desire to return to the Nou Camp, with the Blues reportedly willing to ‘tear up his contract’.

Goal has reported that his actions have angered some figures within Stamford Bridge who are open to terminating his contract at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Aubameyang appears eager for a long-term return to the Nou Camp and is willing to accept lower wages to make it happen.
