Nottingham Forest Determined To sign Marvin Ducksch By January

According to reports in his home country of Germany, Werder Bremen striker Marvin Ducksch has been linked to Nottingham Forest.

NottinghamshireLive disclose that objectives for prospective targets are being made by Steve Cooper and his backroom team as the January transfer window draws near.  Few weeks ago, three of the team’s forwards were ruled out due to injury, the Forest manager may decide to bolster his striker position.

Sport Bild (via Get Football News Germany) reports that Forest is “extremely keen” to pursue Ducksch. Werder Bremen is reportedly considering selling the 29-year-old in January if the offer is reasonable, with a €15 million (£13 million) price tag.

n his 11 Bundesliga appearances this season, Ducksch has five goals and three assists. Due to his impressive play, he received his first call-up to the German national team for the current international break. He played in defeats against Austria (2-0) and Turkey (2-3) as a late substitute.
