Neymar: Lionel Messi “Feels More At Home” At PSG Now

After failing to live up to his extraordinarily high standards during his first season at PSG, Neymar has claimed that Lionel Messi now feels at home in Paris.

The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner didn’t have the most successful debut season at PSG. Messi only managed to score six goals in 26 Ligue 1 games, a tally he is already halfway to reaching this term.

While Messi’s adjustment to a new team, a new city, and a new way of life was no doubt going to be difficult, the Brazilian forward, Neymar was there to welcome him to Paris.

Together, they won several La Liga championships and a UEFA Champions League during their time at Barcelona.

What Did Neymar Say About Neymar?

Neymar provided some insight into Messi’s evolution during his first season at PSG in an exclusive interview with The DAZN Soccer Show.

“I’ve known Leo for a long time. I was able to help him more on the pitch in training through speaking to him.

“It’s hard to make a change like that because he’d been in Barcelona for many years and now everything has changed for him and his family.

“It’s tough, but I think he’s doing better now and feels more at home,” Neymar said.

“I want him to enjoy it and for both of us to enjoy it together.

“We know we have a lot ahead of us and plenty of difficulties, but I’m sure we can get through them.”
