Newcastle United are reportedly prepared to offer Barcelona €80 million for Raphinha.
The Brazilian has emerged as a target for Premier League clubs ahead of the summer transfer window. Newcastle United, one of the interested parties, are reportedly willing to pay €80 million to sign him.

The Brazilian only recently joined Barça in the summer of 2022. After leaving Leeds United in a deal worth €65 million (with add-ons).
The winger improved in the second half of the season after having a sluggish start to the campaign. Particularly during the time that Ousmane Dembele suffers injury.
Raphinha has now become a key player according to manager Xavi Hernandez after producing a total of 10 goals and eleven assists so far across all competitions. Given the club’s financial predicament, a sale might yet be in the works if a sizable bid were to come in.

Romero continues by stating that La Liga are already aware of Newcastle United’s €80 million offer because it was already incorporated into Barcelona’s economic viability plan that was delivered to La Liga.
