Nathan Ake has lifted the lid on what Chelsea boss Antonio Conte said to him upon his return to Stamford Bridge.
Conte decided to recall the 21-year-old defender earlier this week as a result of his impressive performances for Bournemouth in the first half of the season.
Eddie Howe sang the praises of Ake at Dean Court before the youngster returned to Chelsea and it appears his new manager has high hopes for him looking ahead to the remainder of the campaign.
‘He’s happy for me to come back,’ Ake told Chelsea TV after his move back to the Blues was confirmed.
‘He said he’s watched my games and that I did well in those games.
‘He wants to see me here, how I’ll do in this team and, yes, to learn different positions.
‘I’m looking forward to training and learning a lot under this coach.’
